The group vibrates as the Royal Forum welcomes Osemawe d’Ondo

It was a celebratory atmosphere complemented by quality music as a group of Ondo natives under the auspices of the ‘Osemawe Palace Forum’ welcomed the Osemawe, the Supreme King of the Ondo Kingdom, Oba (Dr) Victor Kiladejo CFR.

Oba Kiladejo, who was accompanied at the event by his wife, Olori Olayinka Kiladejo, and his council members, thanked members of the Osemawe Palace Forum for their support and paid tribute to them for the renovation and renovation From the palace.

In his address on the occasion, the King highlighted his commitment to the development of Ondo’s youth, especially in the areas of skills acquisition and education. He noted that in 2021, he inaugurated the Òsemàwé Academic Advisory Forum, whose members include indigenous Ondo academicians and responsible for the educational development of Ondo youth.

The King also launched the Osemawe Youth Empowerment Foundation during the event. The chairman of the foundation’s board, Ayodele Akintunde, SAN, in his acceptance speech thanked the Osemawe for entrusting the foundation to the hands of his team of “men and women of caliber”. . He promised to work with his team to achieve the goals set by the king. Other Trustees are Felix Oladunjoye, Dr Seyi Roberts, Similade Kiladejo, Wole Benson, Busola Olanubi, Dr Nelson Osungbemiro and Prof Duyilemi

Guests at the event include Dr. Olubayo, Dr. Dere Awosika, Chief Siji and Mrs. Akinwande, Chief and Mrs. Folageshin Akinnawo and Chief Bintan Famutimi.

The evening ended in style as the dignitaries present took turns dancing to the melodious songs performed by the solo musical group.
