Steve Miller Band postpones Bridgeport show due to COVID case

Due to a positive COVID case, legendary rockers The Steve Miller Band have postponed their next show in Bridgeport. The group was to perform at Hartford Health Care Amphitheater Friday, July 29.

The place advertised on facebook that the show would be rescheduled for Sunday August 14 and that all tickets for the original date would be honored for the new date. The group did not use social media or issue a statement to comment on the postponement.

According to group websitethe show scheduled for Wednesday, July 27 at the Carteret Performing Arts and Events Center in Carteret, NJ has also been rescheduled for Saturday, August 13.

The Steve Miller Band’s most recent concert was at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs, NY. Sunday July 24.

Other upcoming concerts scheduled for the Hartford Healthcare Amphitheater include Steely Dan on August 7, The Beach Boys and The Temptations on August 19, Sting on September 9, and Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band on September 23.
