(HOBOKEN, NJ) – After nearly 20 months, Mile Square Theater (MST) open their doors to bring back the quality performance for which it is known. Hoboken local and songwriter Broadway star Margo Seibert comes to MST with her original solo show Emergence Friday December 10 and Saturday December 11. Seibert presents an evening of musical theater, folk rock and his own original music. Emergence explore our transformation as we emerge from the pandemic and remember that we are probably better together.

When the world stopped and the live performance was deemed dangerous, Margo (and most of the performers) have experienced a heartbreaking absence from their passion and livelihood. Facing the unknown and coupled with life’s amazing twists and turns, Margo takes us on a journey through the past year and one half, filled with song, celebration and honesty. The musical landscape of the evening includes Broadway favorites new and old, original tunes from Seibert, Joni Mitchell, Tori Amos, Sara Bareilles, and more.

Mile Square Theater Artistic Director Chris O’Connor said: “It’s time for our audiences to come back, and we are delighted that Margo brings her wonderful work to our space. His show will mark our happy return to indoor live performance production. We have produced a lot of digital content in the last 20 month, and this fall, we produced two free outdoor events for the public. Margo’s show on December 10 and 11 are the next step towards a return to normalcy. I think our audience is in for a delicious evening with Margo!

The performances will take place on Friday December 10 and Saturday December 11 at 8 p.m. Tickets cost $ 30 and available for purchase in line. Estimated run time: 75 minutes. Recommended for ages 14 and up. NOTE: Members of the public will need to be masked and show valid CDC proof of COVID vaccination or negative test. The Mile Square Theater is located at 1400 Clinton Street in Hoboken, New Jersey.
