Circle Theater kicks off 2022 season with music from James Bond


Circle Theater, West Michigan’s go-to destination for exceptional theatrical arts in an intimate setting, kicks off its 2022 season with Nobody Does It Better: The Music of james bond on Friday, April 15, directed by Kathy Gibson under the musical direction of Scott patrick beautiful.

This one-night fundraising event will support Circle Theater’s ongoing commitment to enriching, educating and entertaining West Michigan through exceptional performing arts. Enjoy the Martini Lounge, appetizers and an evening of music featuring the iconic songs made famous by the james bond movies. This highly anticipated evening of entertainment brings together theater enthusiasts, accomplished artists and visionary supporters to make a lasting impact on the performing arts. This circle launch fundraising concert will take place inside the Performing Arts Center, located on the campus of Aquinas College. Doors to the event and the Martini Lounge will open at 6 p.m. and the concert will begin at 7 p.m.

Circle Theater’s 2022 season brings together West Michigan for a summer of community favorites. Their 70th season Main Stage and Concert Series will include the musical RENT; the comedy The play that goes wrong; the musical The Music Man; playing at Golden Pond; and the sci-fi musical Little Shop of Horrors. Circle Theater is proud to announce a revamped Magic Circle family production. In 2022, Magic Circle will bring storytelling to kids, taking character designs of children from Spectrum Health Children’s Hospital Helen DeVos and creating unique productions based on their designs. Magic Circle is where the imagination comes into play. This year’s production will be Dogs Love Cupcakes: The Incredible True Story of the Life and Times of Jeff.

Unique and diverse performances from Circle’s summer concert series include Get Ready: The Music of Motown, Divine Divas: Iconic Women of Pop, Soul Groove: The Hits of Soul and R&B, Under Pressure: The Music of Queen and david bowieas well as a variety of Circle Pop-Up concert nights featuring local artists, food trucks and vendors.

All performances will take place at the Circle Theater, located at the Performing Arts Center on the campus of Aquinas College.
