The Louisville Orchestra has announced its 2022-23 season, which includes new works by composers from the recently launched Creator Cops, the eighth annual American Music Festival, and commissioned works by modern composers, including Grawemeyer Prize-winning composer Olga Neuwirth. 2021, and more. .
The 2023-2023 “Season of Creativity” also includes Music Director Teddy Abrams as pianist and conductor for Ludwig van Beethoven’s “Fifth Piano Concert” in a program where he also conducts Beethoven’s “Fifth Symphony”. The headliner of the Pops series is Grammy Award-winning Broadway and Hollywood star Kelli O’Hara. Pops principal bandleader Bob Bernhardt has scheduled a season packed with entertainment, including vintage movies with some of the best musical scores on display, including “Aretha: A Tribute,” and award-winning vocal group Three Texas Tenors. an Emmy Award, which amassed a huge fan base worldwide, according to the release.

The Louisville Orchestra plans to play more than 100 performances in five different concert series for the 2022-23 season. Season passes for each concert series are on sale now. Current subscribers get the first renewal right to keep their current seat or to have the first choice of seats available. The deadline for renewing subscriptions is June 1.
